A tireless singer-songwriter, raised listening to Prince & J.S. Bach plus everything in between, Luis Cano performs and records whatever he wants whenever he wants.

After leaving his native Spain and landing in the UK in 2006 ,  Luis released and self produced his own albums under just his first name,  until he decided to re-start his solo career by withdrawing all his work from the net,  coming back as “LUIS CANO”.

Luis released his solo album “MUSIC” in 2014, featuring the fans favourite single “Magic”. “MUSIC” is a mixture of new material and old songs re-arranged. Three songs (“Magic”, "Sunday" & “She’s Lonely”) were Commended Entries at the UK SONGWRITING CONTEST in 2015, on the Rock, Singer-Songwriter & Acoustic & Folk categories respectively. Afterwards, he released the EP "DECEMBER" (2015) and the album "THE FUTURE" (2017). The albums “THE LONG ROAD TO FREEDOM” (featuring the virtuoso drummer Chus Gancedo, renowned session guitarist Ian Salmon and singer Alex Smith from the legendary Australian rock band “Moving Pictures”) & “ANALOGUE MACHINE” (a dark funk electronic solo effort)  both dropped in 2019, demonstrating his prolific output.

Luis started working on an ambitious new project in 2020: an album featuring musical  heroes that influenced him, which he contacted personally to seek their involvement  with his most collaborative project to date.  "HERO" , the album, was finally released in October 2021 featuring many top class international collaborations from the funk to the pop/rock and jazz scene (Mexican drum sensation Migdalia Van Der Hoven, keyboard payer and producer for Michael McDonald and Eric Clapton Toby Baker and Ashley Slater from the hit UK funk band Freak Power just to name a few!)  .

Luis has done anything but slowing down, adding album after album and single after single till this day!

You can also catch Luis Cano regularly playing live as well as on keyboards  as a member of The Tree Men Band, accompanying the legendary Californian singer songwriter Holly Penfield alongside Ian Salmon (guitar), Ian Ritchie (Roger Waters, Wham!) on bass and Jack Carrack on drums (Paul Carrack).
